Three Valleys · Off-piste

Three Valleys tours and off-piste days

A full day across the largest linked ski area in the world, or fresh snow away from the groomed runs. Chosen for the conditions, planned around you.

Two skiers on a summit with snowy peaks stretching to the horizon

Les 3 Vallées is the largest linked ski area in the world: 600 km of pistes and 161 lifts between Courchevel, Méribel, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Val Thorens, skiable from about 1,300 m to 3,230 m. It is easy to spend a week here and only see a fraction of it. A guided day changes that.

A Three Valleys day

We plan the route around the weather, the snow and your level. Then we ski the best runs of each valley, avoid the busiest lifts at the busiest times and stop for lunch at a mountain restaurant we know and recommend.

  • For confident skiers who are comfortable on red runs.
  • Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and beyond, in one day.
  • Tips along the way, so you ski better as well as further.
  • Always a way back. We plan the return so you are home before the lifts close, with no stress.

Off-piste days

When the snow is good, the best skiing is often just off the groomed runs. We choose the terrain for the day’s avalanche conditions, and safety comes first: a briefing, equipment checks and clear rules before the first turn.

  • Powder technique for skiers who want to feel at ease in fresh snow.
  • Lift-served terrain within the ski area, no long climbs.
  • Safety equipment required: avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. Bring your own, or we provide them as an extra.

Why ski it with former racers

Racing teaches you to read terrain quickly and to choose a line. On a Three Valleys or off-piste day that means the right run at the right time, and honest advice about what is safe and what is not.

Not ready for a full tour yet? Start with private lessons in Courchevel or in Méribel and build up to it.

Questions we are often asked

What level do I need for a Three Valleys day?

You should be comfortable on red runs. We plan the route around your level and the conditions, and we can shorten it at any time.

What level do I need for off-piste?

Off-piste is for confident, advanced skiers. If you are new to it, we start with easy terrain close to the pistes and work on powder technique.

Do I need avalanche safety equipment?

Yes. An avalanche transceiver, a shovel and a probe are required. Bring your own, or we provide them as an extra.

Which lift pass do I need?

For a Three Valleys day you need a pass that covers the whole Three Valleys area, not only one valley.

Can we do half a day off-piste?

Yes. Off-piste can be booked as a half day or a full day. Three Valleys tours are full days.
